If you own a previous version of Adobe product such as Adobe Master Collection, you may want to re-install it to a different computer but the new computer does not have any CD/DVD drives for the installation disks. External optical drive will sole this problem, but what if your disk is damaged and you still want to install it.
In my case, my back up laptop lost in fight with my 2 years old son. I could not even deactivate the Adobe installation. So I contacted Adobe support and asked to update my activation settings on their side so I could install a fresh Adobe Master Collection and activate it. However the new laptop does not have a CD/DVD reader. In fact I don’t remember using CD or DVD disks in past few years so the only option in my case is to install the software from downloaded trial version.
I was surprised to know that Adobe provide downloads for many previous versions of their products. Here is the list of Adobe applications that you can download the trial version, install it on your computer from drive and activate it with your serial number:
- Creative Suite CS6 | CS5.5 | CS5 | CS4 | CS3
- Acrobat XI, X | 9, 8
- Photoshop Elements 11, 10 | 9, 8, 7
- Premiere Elements 11, 10 | 9
You can get those applications by visiting Adobe support, downloads, or use direct link to the previous adobe applications downloads page.
